It is the people with intellectual disabilities and their families who are most affected by underfunding. They are the ones who are suffering the most from the service cuts and growing waitlists.
The province decides who gets access to support and care, and how much funding they receive. If we fail to properly support people, this lies at the feet of the provincial government.
